  • The Fit: This is a narrow, fast-rolling 27.5" tyre (650B) for tarmac and gravel.

  • The Rubber Stamp: The tyre is physically stamped 26 x 1 ½ (42-584).

  • The Proof: 584 is the exact metric code for a 27.5" wheel. It fits 27.5" rims perfectly.

  • Will it fit standard 26" mountain bikes? NO. Standard 26" bikes use a smaller 559mm rim.

🔴 Please check your existing tyre for the 584 number before ordering!

🔴 If your current tyre ends in -584 (such as 50-584 or 54-584), this narrower tyre will fit your wheels perfectly and offer a faster ride.

⚠️ Width Note: Continental officially lists this tyre as 1.6" wide. Even though the old fraction system stamped on the side reads "1 ½" (which mathematically looks like 1.5), the metric 42mm width is standard for an urban hybrid 27.5" tyre.
